The vision for Grow Utah Ventures began with Alan Hall- founder and Chairman of MarketStar based in Ogden, Utah. Alan has successfully grown his own business from a small start up in Utah to now an international services company with operations and employees located around the world. He recognizes the full benefits of starting his business in Utah and keeping it in Utah where he can have access to a trained technically skilled employee base, and the supportive infrastructure necessary to expanding companies.

Alan envisions that Grow Utah Ventures will provide assistance to other Utah entrepreneurs, like himself, to achieve their dreams and in doing so, to strengthen the economy and employment opportunities in Utah, primarily Northern Utah.

The primary vision of Grow Utah Ventures centers on stimulating and facilitating the establishment and expansion of Utah based businesses. This is accomplished by facilitating direct private equity investments in Utah businesses and through community and academic initiatives that stimulate and encourage entrepreneurism.
